PRESS REWIND: CHRIS MARTIN STUDIO VISIT PARTS I & II via JAMES KALM
Back in 2008, James Kalm pulled off one of the best studio visits of all time when he went to Chris Martin's place. It's not just the conversation, but the trove of paintings revealed here that etched a memory in my mind. Chris is one painter whose work is revered by those who love how he infuses it with the element of funk, plain and simple. It's funk and fearless experimentation that makes his work so meaningful and worth going back to again and again. Be sure not to miss part II.
